I love a good bowl, and I’ve had a lot of bowls. Today for the first time I tried the Ancho Chicken bowl from the YorkU Pita Pit. What a world of flavour! Tinge of sweet, hits of spicy, lots of veggies and a healthy portion of ... chicken and rice. Delicious. One of my faves now. Definitely going back. Well done!! Read more

I had been meaning to visit this location of Pita Pit for some time. I've been to several other Pita Pit restaurants, but this one really impressed me with it's cleanliness, and the quality and freshness of all the ingredients. The pita bread itself was soft and moist ... which kept the sandwich intact and easy to eat. It was delicious! I will return again, not just for the excellent food, but for the wonderful service I received as well. The franchisee couple who own/operate this restaurant are very friendly and welcoming, and never rushed me to decide what combination of ingredients I wanted. I accidentally left my cell phone there and didn't realize it until I got home, which was over an hour later. I called, we connected - they very kindly had held the phone for me in safekeeping believing that I would surely contact them to retrieve it - which I did. I would highly recommend this Pita Pit restaurant for the excellent quality of the food, for the wonderful service, and for the integrity and honesty of the couple who operate it. I ordered lunch from this location with the proceeds of a charity event we held with some work colleagues. The lunch was going to the hospital, so there were special requirements that needed to be accommodated given the COVID pandemic. I wanted to send a quick note ... to thank the owners of this Pita Pit for jumping in with their support. Not only did they take the time to ensure each of the 65 meals were individually packaged, but they were very eager to contribute to the cause by providing free cookies and drinks. Thank you! Review not about the food but insensitive sign outside. No outside food or Loitering is fine, but why students only! I'm not myself a student but it's very insensitive to point out the whole group, should be either for everyone or nobody. Everyone was/is a student at one point.
