A very solid 3.5 star rating. I think the one thing that can get lost about North Poke amongst the wide variety of poke offerings in the city is that they do it the closest to Hawaii style. This means you don't get to choose which sauces you want to smother your ... fish in or what toppings will go into the bowl itself. Rather they have already thoughtfully marinated the protein in some tasty sauces and ingredients already while they respectfully put some toppings that will go along with your poke. They have about 4 fish poke choices, an octopus choice, and a veggie option as well. You can get them in either snack, regular, or large sizes or by itself on a per 100 gram price. I think the best value bowl here is the large where you can two or three choices of the poke offering. I don't think you can do that with the regular bowl. I ended up getting two snack sizes as I wanted to try the molokai (spicy tuna) and octopus poke. Both were delicious and satisfying in their own separate little containers. I wish I just got the large instead though. All the bowls come with seaweed salad, crunchy taro chips, and a slice of avocado. The restaurant is really small with three little stools by the window for seating so takeout/Ritual pickup should be the way to go to enjoy this poke. Read more
