The BBQ chicken was very dry, bland and cold. The potatoes tasted like they had been out a long time.

Absolutely phenomenal grilled chicken, with generous portions of rice. The hot sauce provided also elevates the flavour of the meal. The staff go out of their way to be very courteous. A dependable place for some tasty BBQ and grilled chicken.

I got a chicken sandwich today. Everything about it was good. The bun, the chicken that was so moist it melted in your mouth. The seasoning on the chicken was a perfect mix of sweet, tangy and spicy.

Very disappointed!!! Rice was hard, potatoes tasted old, like they were sitting in the warmer all day. Plus side, chicken was very tender but no flavour. No sauce on the chicken (it desperately needed to be in the sauce to get some flavour) I was given one sauce which is definitely not enough. The ... sauce is a plus just needed more. Okay, I for one did not see this one coming. On my weekly hunt to discover a new neighbourhood in Toronto, I decided to go up to St Clair West. Got on the subway from Union Station and went all the way up to St Clair West Station and took ... the 512 Streetcar West, heading towards Stockyards. I quickly decided to exit the Streetcar at Bathurst and began exploring the neighbourhood. Around Christie, this little place caught my eye. I already had the pleasure of trying Brazilian churrasco but never actually been to a Portuguese one. First impressions we're a little skeptical. At the first glance you notice the rough edges and turn super judgey, but then you look at the food prices and immediately get hooked. There are several different types of BBQ items. From grilled to rotisserie chicken and even smoked back ribs. So I was immediately hooked. I got the whole grilled chicken with a large side of roasted potatoes. Oh my gosh, the taste is amazing, that smokiness and charriness of the chicken is unlike anything I've tried in Toronto. Inside, chicken was juicy and not too dry. The flavors are well balanced and not spicy, which means everyone can enjoy. The roasted potatoes were perfect to the T. Will I be going back there? Absolutely! Am I going to order back ribs next time? Hell Yeah! And of course, they reminded me to order the back ribs an hour early, cause they always make a fresh batch.
