This is a very cutely decorated, laid back restaurant on Harbord street. We went for brunch and sat by a small table by the window. Our server was really nice and dishes came out fast even though there were a number of large groups. The food was okay, nothing extraordinary ... but a good brunch place just to relax on the weekend. Harvest kitchen is such an amazingly cozy place. The food is amazing, they have a great selection for everyone. If your group has vegan or vegetarian needs theyll be accommodated. The space is a little cozy so a big group may not fit based on availability. However you may want ... to check if they have an upstairs section. The food was amazing, and felt fresh the only comment that I would have is that their chicken pot pie would need to contain a bottom crust as well, it was a bit hard to dive into at first but delicious nonetheless. The food was so scrumptious and the prices were reasonable. The portion sizes are a little large so even after having the mezze plate as an app we were pretty full! I highly recommend the mezze plate, everything was delicious and fresh, the flat bread was served warm and soft ... and all the things went together so perfectly. I had the veggie burger and while it did taste quite like black beans it was fantastic. The fries were really good too! The only thing that made me take a star off was the unreasonable wait time. When we got there around 5:30 we were one of two tables two and so it made no sense that we waited almost 20 mins for our app. The place started filling up but there started being more serving staff as well so this fact that, by the time we were able to leave, it was 7:30 was silly. We had to get up and find someone to get our cheque and even then it took a while to settle. I want to go back though but I will make sure I give myself lots of time here. Great service and even better food! Portions a great for the price. I tried the tofu substitute for bacon and was pleasantly surprised. Ingredients tasted fresh. Good amount of seating, though upstairs vibes are totally different from the main floor. One of the more affordable restaurants in the area.

My partner and I came here on a Sunday for a late brunch -- around 3pm. It was not busy. Staff were friendly, food was good and a decent portion, enough to fill you! Pricing is on avg abt $20 per main dish. The ambience was nice and very ... cozy. We ordered the soup of the day African peanut soup with a tomatoes base, and the black and green kale Bennie & Mushroom French fries Bennie. Enjoyed everything we ordered!! Where Harvest Kitchen lost points: - We were seated without menus. I had to go up and grab the menus myself. - Once we ordered the food -- it took almost an hour to come!! At least the soup should have been fast. Tip - there are some small side street where you can park. If it's during the day time there might be some space for free parking!!
