Initially, I wasn't going to rate this place, since I didn't care enough to bother. However, after the experience I've had, I feel inclined to do so. I recently purchased some eCertificates through Müv Experiences to be used here. With that in mind, I made some reservations and a few days ... later, a group of us went to eat here. We were sat down and shortly after, I told the waitress I have some certificates that I would like to use. She was nice and said she would see what she could do. In about 5 minutes or so, one of the owners came at our table and asked about these certificates. I explained where I had purchased them and the fact that I had paid around $200 for these. She left for a little while and then came back saying that they are non-redeemable. When I asked for a reason, I was told that they just aren't. After a bit more back and forth, I was finally told that the restaurant is currently under new management, however, this had occurred over the past year. Keeping that in mind, I couldn't comprehend how a new business owner would not have knowledge of all facets of this business, especially if it was purchased from someone else. In addition to this, no accommodations were even attempted to be made to keep us as potential customers. We were just offered bread and water. Either way, it wasn't too big of a deal, and our group decided to leave and eat somewhere else. Fast forward to a few days later, after one of my friends posted a review on here about this place, and I am greeted with a very sarcastic email from the second owner of the establishment (whom I emailed the night of the dinner, in hopes that we could have our coupons honoured). He "congratulated" me on posting a review (even though it was my friend's), even though he apparently explained the situation in a previous email. The entire exchange was pretty much me being told that the certificates are not redeemable. No attempts were made smooth over the situation and gain our business. And my friend's review was not solely based on this interaction, but also on the service received the night in question. Sending sarcastic emails to your potential customers saying "bravo" does not exactly make business sense, especially if your hopes are to increase your clientele. I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone. The food might be good, but that's about it. And reading some of the other reviews, it seems I'm not the only one with something to say about this establishment. Read more
