Absolutely delightful restaurant. My duck confit was falling off the bone tender and packed with flavour! Would definitely order again, can’t wait to try other main dishes. Ordered the gin cocktail and was refreshing and not watered down, very important for someone who likes a strong drink. It was lemony ... and not too sweet. Went here for an early birthday dinner with my friend and was quite happy with their service! My friend ordered the Steak Frites and the cook on it was perfect (medium/rare) I ordered the Muscles and was pleasantly surprised by the flavors. Our extended family of eight had dinner at Maison Fou and had a very good experience. Many different apps and entrees were ordered and we all sampled each other's meals. Overall everyone was either pleased or extremely happy with the flavors and portion sizes. The restaurant itself is pleasing and ... clean. I'm recommending this restaurant for a satisfying and reasonably priced French styled meal. Also, this stretch of Bloor Street West has a lot of average restaurants or pubs and this place is a welcome alternative. Read more

We came for our anniversary and made reservations ahead of time, and boy were we not dissappointed. Our server Frank was fantastic in giving us suggestions and providing plenty of information on each of the dishes we did get. In the end we got the duck confit and the Lamb ... Shank over roasted spaetzle. Both were great dishes. The restaurant then surprised us with some complimentary dessert wine, and their to die for salted chocolate mousse to celebrate our anniversary.
