Hidden gem! Their fish and chips have generous portion and are delicious!! Although the fries could be better, but hey, as long as the fish is super I'm good! I think they recently changed the owner/management, maybe the chef as well, so the fish now tastes a lot better. Their price is ... awesome! $7 for fish and chips? It's better than McDonald's! Oh, another thing worth to mention is that they also have this Chinese stuffed bun/burger, which is really good too! If you want to try something different but delicious, give it a shot! Read more
Fantastic! Great food, great service, and big portions. Best fish and chips in Scarborough, my go to place for a take-out night. I order the haddock and chips and I am always pleased with it. I love the batter, it has such a good taste to it and the portion ... is huge. The fries are fresh and very tasty, they definetely upped their fry game recently. Last month I tried their Caesar salad and it was pretty good too! Love this place. Recently (I go a lot), I got the big eater halibut and chips special (take out), so my friend and I split it. We each got a large fish and split the fries and we STILL had fries leftover (and we are pretty good eaters). Pretty good deal when the big eater special feeds two and then some! Also the lovely woman that runs the show is SO friendly and kind, solid 10/10 for service. Read more
Fresh, cheap, filling. Exactly what fish and chips should be. I always get the Chef's Fish Special when I'm here. At $7.95 it really can't be beat. I believe the fish is haddock but they use a thinner fillet than the haddock fish and chips. Yes it is greasy but ... after a camping trip or work out this definitely hits the spot. Each table has a huge tube of tartar sauce and lemon juice so you'll never run out! It's a big restaurant and it's usually quiet which is nice. Read more
Fish and chips tasted good. But I have to say the batter was very oily/greasy. Each time me and my wife cut into haddock or halibut oil squeezed out. We also had the shrimps and scallops and onion rings. They were all very good.

This is an amazing Fish and Chips joint. The fish isn't oily and I have tried it 3 timed and each time it was fresh and perfectly cooked. The chips/French fries were perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The customer service is amazing too. Very friendly and ... helpful. The food arrives at a good pace even when its busy. Due to dietary restriction I inquired from the management if they use vegetable oil and don't cook any meat in the same oil as seafood and French fries. To both they said they don't. I would still recommend that in case you have any restriction reconfirm. Amazing staff here. This is my favorite fish and chips place. Highly recommended. Read more
