South St. Burger - Toronto, Ontario

If I could leave a zero star review I would. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich, and received raw chicken. Completely unacceptable, the employee on site (owner? manager?) Was completely unsympathetic, I had to demand a refund but he clearly did not care about the whole ordeal. There’s a reason ... we don’t eat raw chicken because you can become seriously ill! Salmonella kills people. I had already eaten some! I may become ill! I highly suggest you avoid this location. It completely ruined my lunch break and I now have to return to work on an empty stomach. Look at the picture, you can see the flakey/stringy cooked strands of protein on the outside and the pinkish squishy RAW CHICKEN! Unacceptable! This place should be shut down! Read more

I usually have a pleasant experience with the food at South St. (Although not much experience at this location) so I’m a little disappointed. I was given all the end pieces of some old looking lettuce in my burger and I’m wondering if it was done deliberately as a joke ... or something. Great place for a burger. The buns and fresh toppings complete the burger experience. The burger it self is good but definitely a frozen burger. The poutine is ok but I expected better. The fries are nice and cooked perfectly. Musroom Swiss was great, will definitely go back.

I eat burgers at many places, the only place I liked is this place and one in barrie. Burgers here are cooked perfectly, staff is very nice and friendly. Place is really very neat, love this place🤘👍👍👍

One-time First Timer at this location and I was not satisfied enough to return again. Food was on par with other locations but the over all appearance seemed cluttered, unclean and the staff were unfriendly. Had it not been for the cost of the meal, I probably would have walked away.
