Took a chicken shawarma, it was alright, the ingredients looked fresh and it tasted rather good. However the place doesn't look very clean and the atmosphere is not really fancy. So it's probably a good place to take a shawarma away and that's it.

Both times I have been here, I have felt incredibly sick right after doing their shisha. The service here is also pretty horrible. It seems as though they have given up trying knowing this place too will inevitably shut down due to the new by-laws and the remodelling of Yonge ... street. Read more

Shisha is great, they seem to know what they're doing. Good variety of tastes incl. Double Apple. The place itself is a bit shady with inadequate heating. No alcohol sold there either.

I stumbled upon this place in the wee hours of the night after a night of drinking and after looking over to see the Fat Bastard's Burritos across the street was closed. It was the end of the night and you could tell by what was left over. I actually ... asked for a chicken Shawarma and was told they were out of chicken. At that point in my life, they knew as well I as did that a beef shawarma would do. The dissappointing thing about this however, was that the woman who ordered after me had chicken cooked up just for her because she ordered something with chicken. Kind of dissappointing. This place was horrible. I've never written a review (let alone a negative one), but being a business owner who prides himself on excellent customer service I had to write this. My wife, her friend, and I were just looking for a comfortable place to smoke some shisha and have some turkish ... coffee. We've always walked by this place and figured we might as well try it this time. We made our order and sat outside for our coffees. Our first mistake was to prepay for the order (we were given a choice). When the coffees arrived they were warm, watered down, and just plain bad. The girls weren't satisfied and also didn't like the fact that they came in metal cups and not porcelain ones (they like to do coffee 'readings' similar to tarot cards). My wife went in to complain about the bad coffee and found that there was actually someone else in there doing the same. After telling the guy behind the counter that the coffee wasn't too good and if we can have another round, she was rudely told "this isn't Star Bucks". At that point we just wanted to cancel the shisha order and leave but we were refused a refund! Forget the questionable sanitary conditions and the crappy coffee. To be outright told we couldn't have our money back for something we didn't even touch is just unacceptable. What's worse is that my wife's friend was visiting from out of the country and was the one that originally paid for the whole thing! I was pissed and didn't want to cause a scene in front of our guest so we left to find greener (and cleaner) pastures. We ended up at a nice little shisha place (I believe it was called Argileh Lounge) down the street by Wanda's Waffles close to the Zanzibar. The staff there were great, the shisha lasted all night, and the coffees were delicious. Best of all, while waiting for the bill we told the gentleman behind the counter our story from earlier in the night and he comped our coffees!
