It often feels like they compensate for chicken with deep fried breadcrumbs. The staff are alright. They often seem understaffed but most of them try to do their best.

This Popeyes location right at Bathurst and Bloor is a bit of a hit and miss. On the one hand, it's Popeyes chicken so there is a general baseline of flavours. On the other hand, it's clear this location has seen better days and is a bit on the rundown ... side. I went to this location on a random Thursday to pick up their Thursday special (3 pieces). There was a bit of a wait and there were plenty of folks in front of me. Service was sufficient but I'm not gonna lie that there was an overall dejected feeling in the air. Staff were pleasant and professional with me but it was a bit hectic with all the orders coming and going. I came 20 minutes before closing time on google map 3:00am, the lady in the cashier was telling everyone they already closed. And when I told her about the time and how can she close before 3:00 am she took my order and I ordered chicken sandwich combo. The chicken i ... got was uncooked and there was some blood in it the bun was so dry and cold, and there was no sauce in it. I came back to do refund because the food was made angrily she told me they’re closed and they can’t refund it and it was 2:57 am. If she doesn’t want to work and accept people’s orders until 3:00 am she can just leave the job for someone else who can do it. Read more

Simply, it’s great fried chicken chain. Their chickens bigger than a certain famous chicken chain. Also more tasty than “that” store. Less salty feel healthier. And their spicy fries are really yum! I miss their chickens n fries already…

Who can resist some good old fried chicken? Not this guy! Crispy as ever on the outside and so so juicy on the inside! The fries were delicious as always and the restaurant was very clean and open, with lots of seating options. When I was waiting for my order, 20+ ... teenagers came in, loud and obnoxious. Only 1 of them were ordering food and he was very rude. The girl at the cash was very composed and professional, despite his way of speaking to her.
