Oakwood Pizzeria - Toronto, Ontario

Walked to this cozy pizzeria last night for some local eating and I'm so glad I did. The freshest pizza I've had. The toppings, the dough, and the love made with the pizza were superb.

Absolutely amazing. My husband,daughter and I were just therefor my 33rd bday. We picked up a party size pepperoni and cheese. Took a bit long to cook but it was well worth it. I was in the neighborhood again after more than 15 yrs away, so I decided to get a small pizza with 3 toppings. Quick and simple. Pizza still tasted good after so many years, a bit on the then side, but to be honest, I have been getting big box pizzas for ... awhile now( Pizza Nova, Pizzaville, and Pizza pizza) But overall, pizza was good, and service was fast. We decided to try the place out after hearing about it in a facebook group. We were very disappointed. The pizza barely had any sauce and was chewey. The peperoni was very low quality. Parking was hard to find and they were open for take out only. There was also ... an uncomfortable amount of christian decor and it smelled of cigarettes. We won't be going back. Read more

To be honest, I visited because I saw on a Facebook group that it was a local gem and I was very dissapointed. The pizza was horrible, gummy oven proofed dough, NO sauce, low low quality pepperoni and the mozzarella was so cheap it was like plastic. I expect way ... better from a local spot especially with such simplistic food like pizza. Definitely not worth it. Read more
