Mr. Sub - Toronto, Ontario

I had been going to this location often since it is right near my work. After my last experience there, I will not be setting foot in there ever again. I ordered a large assorted sub, and got halfway through it only to find a hair in my sandwich. Not ... only was it in my sandwich, it was baked INTO the bread. I brought it to the cashier's attention and she told me that she couldn't tell what it was and that she needed to get her husband's opinion. Her husband (the owner) came over and looked at it and agreed that it was a hair. They then completely brushed it off. She told me that it wasn't a big deal and tried to justify it by saying that she found a bug in her fruit that she bought from the grocery store once. This is completely unacceptable and their nonchalant attitude about what happened is enough for me to boycott that location. Gross. Read more

Was keeping an eye out for when they open. Came with a group of 3 others and we all ordered different things. Honestly all of it was fantastic! And for a good price too! Owners are very sweet and kind. Definitely will be a regular stop for us.

Make sure you go in person. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS RESTAURANT. The quality is night and day compared to when you order in person. I used to work at a mr.sub and the delivery order I got from this location was absolutely terrible. They forgot the lousiana ... sauce on my louisiana chicken sub and the secret sauce on my assorted sub. I also ordered my louisiana sub hot and as you can see the cheese is not even melted. On each sub I received there were toppings that I did not order. When I called the restaurant to complain Dev who made my order not only told me that I was wrong and he did put the sauce on, but also that this is the way they are always made. I've been going to mr.subs for 30 years including two years during which time I worked at one. This is not the way they are supposed to be made! In all this time if I have ordered sauce on a sub I can taste it. Not this time. Also didn't cut one of my subs in half not a big deal but why? Dev was so unhelpful and so unapologetic when I called to see if they would fix my order that on top of this review I also called uber eats to get a full refund. Luckily there are other mr.subs I can go to because this location suffers from a lack of professionalism and quality control. I shouldn't have to go in person to make sure they make my sub properly. I went there around 830 PM. The young gentleman behind the counter was absolutely made of sugar (super pleasant). He even helped me decide between a steak and cheese and a meatball sub as my fiance and I took part in the deal 3 12 inch subs for 22$ after 4 ... PM. The ingredients smelled amazing. Food is great, but the bald staff named 'Delwar' over there is very rude and unfriendly. Talking on the phone, chatting with non customers are his best qualities. Very bad service from this staff, went there twice. I don't know how he's even still on the job, rude and arrogance ... isn't what Mr Sub is about. Won't be coming, subway on the other end of the street got better hospitality and respects their money paying customers. Read more
