This is one of the most truly cozy mom and pop restaurants in Toronto. The ambience is perfect and doesn't have the artificial tag off authenticity which most other family owned restaurants purport. The fact that only cash is accepted here is a proof to this. And as far as ... the seafood and the souvlaki are considered, the fish and chips is worth every cent. This is my favourite place in the city for anything delicious. They have by far the best fish and chips but I love their pork souvkali and cheeseburger too. It's a family run restaurant and you really get that feeling when you're here. Sometimes their daughters help out and they're ... the cutest. Had a great breakfast here! Love the special for $4.99, 3 eggs 3 sausage 2 pieces of toast and potatoes ! Drink was not included so I just got water instead. The service was friendly and polite from the time we entered and sat down (went to the cash, said ... we were eating in and a waitress seated us immediately). The vibes are cute here and it's quiet and comfortable (we came around 10am). Takeout is also available here! Overall would recommend for a relaxing breakfast. The owners are very nice. The food is great except for the halibut. The food portions are always huge and the prices are very reasonable. The sitting area and bathrooms are very dirty though. Be sure to try the Greek salad here. They have the best feta cheese I've ever ... had. Read more
