Authentic Vietnamese with a mix of American dishes like sandwiches and fries in the menu. UFO is located on Adelaide and Niagara street and is the perfect lunch spot. You order at the front, pick up your food and can choose a seat indoors or outdoor on the patio, which ... is nicely fenced and shaded. I ordered the veggie vermicelli bowl and it was delicious and fresh. I also got the mango pineapple smoothie which was a little sweet for my liking but nonetheless tasty. My friend got the shrimp fresh rolls and he said it was one of the best he’s had. The portions were also massive so I had to take my food to go. Biggest pork spring rolls I have ever had at a Vietnamese restaurant, especially for the price. I find there's actually TOO much pork in the rolls and it could be a bit more balanced with the other veggies/noodles, tasty but could be a bit more flavourful. Fish sauce was okay. My first experience here was UberEats and I wasn’t super impressed. I ordered the tofu pho with vegan broth and I was given 1 tofu. However, I gave this place another chance and came in-person and my view of the place did a complete 180! I love the no frills atmosphere. ... You order at the counter, you’re given a buzzer, you grab a table and wait for your order to pick up at the counter. Like a food court! They have an interesting mix of Vietnamese and western food which is exactly what they’re going for! I ordered the Tofu Banh Mi and it exceeded my expectations - bread was crispy but soft and was pleasantly surprised by cucumber and tomato inside the sandwich. Partner's brother took us here after picking us up from Billy Bishop. This is a convenience store with a kitchen, that vibe. The pho was incredible, loved it. Would I come back for more, hell yes.
