UPDATE Jan/2018: The dust has settled from several changes and the kitchen is up and running with the Staff being their usual brilliant selves. The Classic breakfast is top quality and an updated pic is included. UPDATE August/2017: The classic breakfast is back sans roasted potatoes. Salad ... only. It seems the new contracted kitchen staff are aiming more towards sandwiches. But 11 dollars plus coffee, tax and tip gives you a fine hot meal. UPDATE May/2017: A change in the kitchen means breakfasts are up in the air so stay tuned as developments occur. Classic bacon and eggs out the door in lieu of breakfast sandwiches. Cash/Debit/Credit card accepted. A play on a French swear word, just change the F for a T, Fabarnak can easily be overlooked blending almost invisibly at the south west side of the 519. Open at 8:30 AM for breakfast. Wonderful counter & kitchen Staff who prepared a Chef quality special of the day shrimp/leek omelette this morning. I challenge Chef Ramsay to do better. Absolutely delicious! I had their catered lunches during a conference and I was really impressed with the quality: super flavourful and healthy. Nice variety. Next time I'm in town I'm checking out the café! I definitely recommend for catering.

Great decor, staff & prices! Unfortunately, it wasn't the best place to get work done. No wi-fi, and it was quite distracting when 50% of the folks who entered the cafe were homeless or had mental health disorders causing a scene (e.g. yelling and moving pieces of furniture and things ... around). ***These folks were not the ones taking advantage of 519's services.*** There's no security, so it took a bit of time before the staff took action. I eventually changed location just to feel a bit safer. While my experience wasn't the greatest, it seems others quite enjoy this cafe spot. Read more

Best Breakfast spot ever. The service was awesome and the food beyond delicious.

This review is in regards to the catering at Cafe Fabernak. The team is amazing: professional, helpful, and serves great food. My organization has used them 10+ times and we are never disappointed. Everyone always comments on how delicious everything tastes and there are very, very rarely any leftovers. Highly recommend ... going here! Read more
