Haven’t been here for a long time. Used to come in, grab lunch and do some writing on my lap top. New owners. Came downtown early for an event in the area. Chilly out so I thought I would pop in to Eative to get ... warmed up, ordered a tea and dessert. Took out my iPad to do some writing. Waitress brought my food, saw my iPad and pointed to a sign that said ‘Laptop friendly only between 8am & 11:30am’. There’s also a sign that says ‘can only sit for one hour’. She said I could only sit here for 1/2 hour if I have my technology open. BTW There’s like only 4 other people in this whole place. The music is way too loud and there’s some guy playing videos on his phone full blast. A couple just walked in and said ‘let’s try and sit farther away from the speakers. I knew the original owners, from about 4 years ago, who were lovely. This is now a place I will never come again. Read more
