I’ve been to this place multiple times already and I love it a lot. This place has a variety of foods ranging from lattes, sandwiches, soups, tarts, and cakes. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Keep in mind you can book reservations but I found that the employees there were ... compensating and tried their best to find seating for us. The cake slices are large and flavourful. I personally like my dessert not too sweet so I liked it. Also, the sandwiches are delicious and filling. They usually have specials depending on the season. Overall, it’s a place everyone living around downtown should try out once! Read more
Food was good, especially the sandwich. The pasta 🍝 had good flavour, however I asked parmesan cheese and they didn't have. The soup and the cheese avocado sandwich were delicious!! I didn't like their reservation table at all. They came to the client's table to tell us they will put a ... reservation sign, we have 30 minutes more to eat, but "no rush"... Of course you're rushing your customers if you do this. Even though the tone was polite, I find this disrespectful to the customers who just started eating. I hope they find a better reservation system without bothering customers. Also, be aware that there is no street parking 🅿️ around the area. You will have to find one paid one. Read more
Great portions, quality was great and price was fair. It’s very limited in seating though, but we’ve been fairly lucky every-time we go in there’s someone leaving. I’m usually too full to get dessert after, but love the presentation and quaint atmosphere. I got a flat white with oat milk, ... client got the hot chocolate which was very rich cocoa. The chicken on the focaccia was authentic and pesto was balancing. Focaccia bread from eately is unreal though so I always feel like anywhere else has been meh. It’s good but I’ve been spoiled with fresh focaccia. The Turkey BLT was massive, he only ate the one half. Looked great, good meat to bread ratio. Would definitely go back. Together around $60 I think. Read more
This is a great cafe quite near Victoria College at University of Toronto. Good coffee, amazing dishes (I had this avocado and smashed eggs) and good price too. Not sooo cheap (~ cad 21 for a coffee and this dish), but good quality, environment and service.
This gem of a café/bakery shop, located on a quiet street one block south of the Bloor Mink Mile, is famous for its broad selection of Majestic Birthday Cakes, but it has way more to offer. You can order cake slices, cookies, delicious sandwiches made to order, soups, any combination ... thereof, with beer or wine, and delicious espresso coffee (truly, the best cappuccino coffee I've had). They'll serve your dishes and drinks to your table indoors, or out on their front terrace, spacious enough to accommodate several patrons, a very quiet break from the area frenzy. Give it a try!
