Bodega Henriette's weekend special bread pudding instantly caught my eye for its beautiful golden brown appearance and colourful accent of tartness from the strawberries, cherries and blueberries that ... have turned a bit jammy. Each bite is a contrast of a crispy puff pastry exterior with a fluffy bready inside, and of course I had to get a cinnamon bun and cookie to complete the three course dessert meal after my lunch. Such lovely cute spot on the East End. I met two of my friends for brunch, on a Saturday, it wasn’t too busy, we were seated on the patio. Our server and the bartender were attentive, friendly and helpful, although a few times we had to get the server’s attention, service was ... still very nice. My eggs Benedict with salmon were great, I love the fact the salmon was thick and not very thin like many restaurants, my friends were also very happy with their meals. The salmon sandwich was to die for! The potatoes changed my life, so crispy and fluffy and perfect. Christina gave phenomenal service, friendly and quick especially since it was busy. And the ambiance was phenomenal with tons of plants and some local art too! Will be back :)
Having driven past Bodega Henriette countless times, we finally made reservations for brunch. What a beautiful space attended by lovely staff. The food was amazing and plentiful. Before we left, we perused the bottleshop and bakery space in the front, taking some things back home with us. We’ll be back ... to enjoy more menu items in-house especially those beer taps & wine list! Read more
