Arctic Bites serves ice cream rolls with an abundance of toppings served in a modest store. Ice cream rolls is ice cream with the imaginative twist of it being served as coils rather than scoops. They are prepared made to order on a frozen griddle and the liquid ingredients are homogenized ... while constantly working and mixing them together into a solid. I love how Arctic Bites uses fresh fruit in their fruit Polarolls (mango and strawberry). The price ($8.8) is worth it due to the labour-intensive process of making the rolls fresh to order and the size of the serving. Reasonably priced for the amount of work and presentation of the ice cream. Beware of allergies such as nuts as they use the same equipment for all the ice creams. More seating would have been nice.

Great desert spot near Kensington market. It was me and my girlfriends first time trying rolled ice cream. It was an amazing introduction. The desert was so carefully put together and it looked really amazing! They added strawberries which was awesome. The taste of both ice creams were really good and ... portions were very fair! Not terribly impressed by this ice cream since it was hard as a rock and really difficult to eat as it felt like I needed an ice pick to chip away to get a bite to eat. I used to come to this place a lot ~7 years ago and ... it was smooth and delicious back then. Disappointed to see that it’s no longer the case. The flavour (earl grey) was good though. The bubble waffle was nice and fluffy though, but you can get this at a lot of places. Read more

Rolled ice cream is great. The ice cream comes out really flavourful and the cream doesn’t dominate the taste. It allows whatever ingredients they use to shine through. Really great quality rolls even though one of their machines was over heating from all the orders they were taking.
