Reviews for George’s Deli & BBQ in Toronto, Ontario
Honestly, I feel bad for the owner because he seems like a nice guy who's trying to support his family by providing quality food to the customers, but some of he's employees (especially that fat dude) INTENTIONALLY downgrades the quality of the food, and customers get fed up with it ... and don't visit back to this place. I am one of them and I am never going back. Read more
Absolutely disgusting. Canned gravy, undercooked rice (it was crunchy) and gravy ON TOP of the overcooked chicken. Steer clear. One good thing about it though - it's affordable!
May be considered a dive, but the corned beef is so good. Whenever we're in T.O. we always make a stop at George's to grab a couple sandwiches.
I love georges deli. I use to go there back in the late 90s early 2000s. It's hot fast fresh and incredibly delicious. After 25 years I went back very recently and it was still as delicious hot fast fresh and reasonably priced.
Don't go there for a real poutine. They'll lie and tell you it is....yet they use mozzarella. Processed three quarter slices of cheese. I'm stunned they're still open. Passed on the exceptionally dry rotisserie chicken. Burger was decent at best. Great price though.
