This location offers the same excellent meats and deli as the College Street Branch. The setting is different from the original Caplansky's on College Street but still lively and trendy. The Yorkville location is not wheel chair accessible. Parking is available in the general area. The seating area is cozy ... and can accommodate large or small groups. The smoked meat sandwich was really tasty and the latkes yummy 😋 the menu isn’t as large as the college street location and the portions are somewhat small, but we would still go back from time to time. The smoked meat poutine was delicious but again, a very small portion.

I hadn't eaten at a proper Jewish deli, so when my wife and I passed by here, we decided to check it out. I'm a sucker for Matzo ball soup and Reubens, so I couldn't have asked for a better meal! I love how there's a selection of mustards on ... tap to choose from, and various pickles that are free of charge! It's a mixture of table service and serve yourself. Mr. Caplansky himself took our order; he's quite the character! My only dissatisfaction was that since the door was kept open, the restaurant got cold, and we were right in the line of breeze. This place is just great, who doesn't want a draft dispenser for all kinds of mustard or the best damn smoked meat on Rye! Get here, come hungry the sides are MASSIVE so share them, I recommend.

Came here not for their meat but for their breakfast and I had no problems with it. The pickle and mustard station was great! My friend had their BBLT and she loved it! The service was good, they came by a few times to make sure we were satisfied.
