Second time at Mambo Lounge and it was even better than the first time! I remember the first time I loved the mojitos and the Ropa vieja, and we decided to go again, and it was superb! Had such an amazing time with the family. Kids loved the food and the music just warmed our souls. A definite return in the future. Can't wait for the warmer weather to enjoy the patio

I visited here for Winterlicious Dinner with some friends. Service was excellent and the waiter was nice. The Ensalada Tropical salad was good, nothing special or unique about it. My friend had the soup of the day which was a black bean soup - this was delicious. For my main I had ... the Bistec a la Plancha. The portion size was impressive. I was very disappointed in the plating though. The steak was sort of thrown on top of the yuca fries with no thought. As a result, some of my fries got soggy which was a shame because the crispy ones were delicious. Personally I thought the steak could have done better with some sort of seasoning. My friend had the Sorpresa vegetal and I had a bit of a taste. This tasted pretty good. I had the Havana Club Creme Brulee for desert. The creme was well done, its short fall was the burnt sugar on top. Overall, I really liked the restaurant atmosphere and the yuca fries were a huge hit for me. Read more

A great place for celebrating an occasion or event! I had a yummy 3 course meal and an exciting vibe. The service was great, tables always getting checked for drinks and plates. They have a small live band playing to keep the Cuban vibe rocking. It is a small area ... and it can get busy and loud. The food is delicious!! It is a small place so call ahead if you're going with a big group. We went on the night they hosted the Cuban Carnival and it was nice! They had two live musicians with two carnival dancers! I would definitely go back! The owner is really wonderful and overall ... service is great! Read more
