The food was pretty okay. As a vegetarian, the faux meat definitely tasted pretty close, but it's been a while for me. I would recommend it for someone who does not eat meat but wants to get close to the experience. Otherwise, the food isn't really that remarkable.
A good Asian vegan/vegetarian restaurant that serves mainly Chinese food, along with a few other options. Dishes containing dairy and/or eggs are marked, and are easily identifiable for vegan diners. Some of our favourites are the BBQ bun, BBQ spare ribs, Mixed veg “Lo Han Chai”, Rice noodles with soy ... beef, Enoki mushroom balls, BBQ seitan, Teriyaki burdock, Sao mai, Wellington, and Veggie dumplings with sesame sauce. The BBQ spare ribs is something we always get. Read more
We have been visiting this place for years, and while living in another country I missed this place quite a bit. We had the pleasure of returning to it today and it was as good as ever. It’s totally vegetarian (with a little shop within if you like any of ... their faux meats and want to take some home). Today we got the chicken, broccoli and mango in sweet and sour sauce and some curried vermicelli, with shredded soy chicken. Both were excellent. There’s also a small selection of vegetarian sushi and some dim sum small plates should that be more to your liking. I recommend the curry puffs. Read more
We really had a fantastic meal. Large menu. Asian Thai Chinese. Vegetarian but everything can be made vegan. Had the vegan Peking duck for the first time. Outstanding! Very nice polite lady server. Nice atmosphere. Clean. Delicious. Hit the store where a nice lady sold us all kinds of stuffs ... like vegan snacks and teas and sweets. Definitely a cool place to visit. Near Kingston market. Highly recommended Read more
Really enjoyed the vegetarian / vegan dining experience here and will definitely come back. Restaurant is quite spacious with lots of tables and well spaced out. There is a section at the back with frozen and non-perishable food selection and variety of tea options for purchase. Food was great. Really enjoyed ... the dim sum items, especially the siao mai and sticky rice. Found the rice noodle a bit soft but tasted better when you leave it a bit at room temperature. Try the Rooibos tea and if you like it, you can buy a box from the back! 2 things for improvements: (1) Have common condiments available on the table - soy sauce, vinegar, hot sauce. (2) Have a mid to larger size tea pot. Read more
