Curry was delicious with just the right amount of heat. The woman working there was super friendly, too. Give this place a try!
UPDATE (Mar 8/24) - what happened to the chicken roti??? my Uber Eats delivery was sadly not a great experience: the roti itself was fine but the chicken curry was impossibly bland — i was honestly shocked. i hope my order was just a random bottom-of-the-pot, end-of-the-day weirdness but i ... miss the old great roti this place usually produces! *********************************** the peoples have spoken! with mouths on fire and bellies full of yummy Caribbean flavours. ordered the goat roti for take out and it was simply spectacular: perfectly seasoned and spiced (if you are not accustomed to spicy foods, suggest asking if they can prep a 'mild' but not sure if what i had was mild as my lips are still tingling ;) this was perfect for a deep freeze kinda day in the city. will def order from here again Read more
Absolute 5/5. This is the best Jamaican food I have ever eaten in my 27 years of existence. The epitome of fall off the bone. The curry goat is TO DIE FOR. I ordered it 2 days ago and again today. My sister got stew beef and stew chicken, and even ... though she liked the beef better, the chicken was still on point. Mom had ox tail and again, fall off the bone and delicious. Coleslaw is probably some of the best I've had. A tiny bit sweet but mostly sour and definitely vinegar based, no mayo. Absolutely delicious and none of us have any complaints. :) Picture is of my curry goat meal from today(small). Read more
Had the large jerk chicken. Jerk chicken was ok… tasted day old, but wasn’t dry. Slight heat, but more so coming from the gravy and not the chicken. Different variety of chicken was a bit odd… boneless thigh, bone-in thigh. Coleslaw wasn’t for me, I like the sweet kind that blends well ... to cut the heat of the jerk. Good portions. $18 is a bit pricey, should be $15 If I was driving by and needed a quick meal, I would buy it again, and they do have a lunch special. But I probably wouldn’t recommend it to a friend. Read more
