Value: 4 Stars Overall: 4 Stars Rol San has been one of my favourite dim sum spots in the city for as long as I can remember. I’ve been coming ... here since I was a baby, and my family has known the owner for such a long time. This long-standing relationship has led to the staff members knowing us by name, always providing an optimal experience with a personal touch. The dim sum at Rol San is always flavourful and delicious. My absolute favourite is the deep-fried squid tentacles paired with their unbeatable in-house hot sauce. Every bite is a delightful burst of flavour that keeps me coming back. The quality of the food here is consistently top-notch, and you can tell that the chefs put a lot of care into each dish. Since Rol San moved to their new location, I’ve noticed a few changes. The dim sum menu has gotten smaller, which was a bit disappointing at first since I loved the variety they used to offer. However, the quality remains excellent, and I’m hopeful that they will expand the menu again in the future. The new location has a modern feel, but I do miss the charm of the old place. One challenge with the new location is finding a seat, especially on weekends. The seating is very tight, and it can be quite packed, making it a bit of a squeeze to dine comfortably. However, this is a testament to how popular and loved Rol San is among its patrons. I can’t wait for the expansions to kick in, which I hope will address the seating issues and bring back some of the menu items we all miss. Also hoping for better management in terms of how they store their food sauces. Despite these minor inconveniences, Rol San remains a top spot for dim sum in the city. The combination of fantastic food, familiar faces, and a welcoming atmosphere keeps me coming back time and time again. This place had some of the most delicious food during our trip to Toronto. Good enough portions for the price so you got to try a lot of different foods. The bbq buns were my personal favorite, along with the fried squid and custard buns. They do charge an automatic ... 15% tip however that wasn't an issue for us as the service was great. We dined here one night very late, around 2 am, with some friends who are dim sum lovers, and they were thoroughly impressed. Everything was fresh and tasty. The restaurant is clean, family-friendly and suitable for groups. Good choice for a satisfying dim sum experience!

I really enjoyed the sweet and sour pork, shu mai, and the shrimp dumplings. the beef egg noodles is okay the "mmmmm" taste is missing and the sticky rice in the lotus leaf is not a rebuy for me. over all, the experience was amazing! great and fast service. and just on the note, i ... am not sure if this is a thing, but we were served with a tea as we sat, and it was billed to us.
