The shop is open 24 hours.. food is decent for the price.. we ordered a fried rice and it was more than enough for two people. Ordered a dim sum and it wasn’t that great but it was fine. The issue was that the staff was being over friendly and I ... knew where this was leading to. I never asked anyone to be over friendly or generous. We paid the bill through credit and the server literally begged and forced us to tip them before leaving. I am never going back to this place again. Why should we be forced to tip!? Tipping is optional and that’s why it pops on the screen as an option. Not everyone wants to tip. Respect the customers choice and move on. Thanks :) The management does not do anything regarding the complaints or bad comments as you can see they have a specific fixed reply to all the negative feedback… that itself shows that the services are bad and they know it themselves but are not willing to do anything about it. Affordable dimsum! Traditional menu that hits the mark. The food is good and comes out quickly. Honestly, I've got no complaints to start off. It was one of the most affordable dim sum restaurants with a pretty decent quality food. Only concern I had was the cleanness of the restaurant. It's 24-hours restaurant so I did have low expectations but I really had a ... bit of concern as soon as I walked in. Both myself and my wife had a minor food sickness after having the $19.99 lobster which tasted good. It's common but I won't be able to order that special again even with the price tag. I've been going to Perfect for over 20 years and I can say there are few restaurants that consistently hit the right quality levels that this place does. When I was younger their service was known to be a little abrupt and less than stellar which honestly was part of ... it's charm. At my visit today the service was nothing but exceptional and the food was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend anyone in the Scarborough area looking for a late night snack give Perfect a try.
