Ordered the bbq pork and roast pork combo. It was very good. Both meats were not too fatty and the roast pork skin was nice and crispy. Definitely recommend. Just be advised it is cash only.
First visit from PEI to Toronto in Oct 2023 this spot was one of our favourite family discoveries in Chinatown. 🐲🐉. Now back for 2nd stop at New Hong Fatt BBQ only 6 months later for some more amazing food! It’s just sooo good!
We had pork, duck and chicken on rice and they all tasted amazing. The soup of the day was chicken broth and it matched so well with the heavy meat. These dishes were so good that I was imagining that the woman who runs this restaurant must have cooked ... this for her family many times and may be doing this for her kids' future. This may be the best home-cooked-feel meal I've ever had. Do your math when they offer 10% off if paid by cash, it wasn't exactly 10% off. They did it really quick + no receipt so be prepared. Maybe a bit difficult to eat here if you don't speak Mandarin, though the service is bare minimum. I went with a Chinese friend so I can't comment precisely. The lady didn't seem to communicate very well in English when I attempted. Read more
Visited this restaurant for Lunch. The prices of each items are reasonable, similar to the other Chinese restaurants near by. Both Beef Brisket and Wonton Noodle soup and Meat (BBQ Pork and Chicken) on rice were average, but the spring rolls are made upon ordering, giving a satisfying crunchy texture with flavorful ... fillings. Wouldn’t choose specifically this place to eat Chinese food, but it is a possible option if you’re looking for great spring rolls. Read more

Just passed by, randomly walked in. The staff is quite friendly and interesting. Half Duck, a little bit salty yet still delicious.
