The food was terrific, albeit a little pricey. The servers meant well, but I had to ask multiple times for things as simple as syrup (who orders pancakes and expects not have syrup included!?) Great spot. Assumed it was a breakfast place only and were pleasantly surprised when they accommodated us last minute for dinner. Love the atmosphere and kind and caring staff. Retro diner feel! A beautiful, cozy restaurant, this is actually Toronto's oldest, established in the 1920s. We got wine and cosmopolitan for drinks their food was good too but they restaurant on too closes pretty early around 8 the bar downstairs on the other hand stays open much longer.

The food is pretty underwhelming for a highly rated place. Neither the egg Benedict nor the French toast stood out in anyway. Overpriced got what you get so I would not recommend.

I loved the vibe and ambiance of the place, unfortunately, I didn't quite enjoy the food. The restaurant had a charming atmosphere and the service was prompt and friendly. However, the breakfast options didn't quite meet my expectations in terms of flavor and quality. Despite this, I appreciate the effort ... put into creating a welcoming environment. Read more
