Terrace Restaurant – Elmwood Spa - Toronto, Ontario

I booked a spa day package and added on an extra treatment. The entire experience from check-in to check-out was perfect and seamless. The attendants, aestheticians, and massage therapists were all kind, courteous, and professional, ensuring that I was comfortable, relaxed, and felt at ease. I allowed myself to really “digitally ... detox” (disconnect from all my electronic devices” for a whole day. I started with 20 minutes in the warm whirlpool, followed by 20 minutes in the steam room. I proceeded to my scheduled Tuscan Citrus Body Scrub and massage therapy session administered by an RMT. After, I had my Urban Detox + Charcoal Mask facial which cleared my oily and congested skin. The aesthetician recommended a few follow-up products to purchase at the end of my spa day. I had a relaxing 90-minute lunch on the 4th floor of their spa. I ordered some salad, a lamb tagine, and a phyllo pocket for dessert. After lunch, the last two treatments of my day were the manicure and pedicure with a paraffin wax treatment. Best spa downtown - go on a weekday to avoid the busy periods that come on Fridays and the weekends. A great place to get away if you're looking for a spot downtown you can spend the day at. 3 course lunch in the summer is on the open terrace ... which is my fave! Also only $50 to have a 3 course meal - um yes please! So worth it and relaxing to eat lunch in your robes. Bring a book and lounge with some delicious tea provided. Read more

Elmwood spa was a really nice experience. The staff were really friendly and welcoming upon arrival. If you have completed your health form you can also do it in the lobby where tablets are provided. There’s also lots of product to shop from once you’re ready to leave by checkout. We were ... handed a schedule that included the time of our complementary water treatments and our massage; I prefer the idea of using the water treatments prior, because after my massage I’m ready to go! The water treatment space was quite small on my opinion! I couldn’t imagine it more packed than it was especially being unisex- there also on a small 4-6 person (if you’re lucky in the woman’s change room which I couldn’t use anyways, it’s just way too small) I did use the wet sauna, it was lovely. And there was a little nook where I enjoyed some quiet time before my massage. I wasn’t overwhelmed with the services that were complimentary but it’s overall nice that it is provided once you spend over a certain amount. Apples and water are provided in this area. It would have been nice to have coffee or tea but maybe there’s reasons for that. The Swedish massage by Eric was phenomenal- most to all my bubbles were worked out and I was very pleased. Once again this experience was really nice and I do think I would come back to the Elmwood to enjoy another day of pampering. Read more

Recently I attended an event at the Elmwood Spa. The visit began with the friendly greeting from the concierge team and I was welcomed to a private space where there were fantastic drinks, exceptional food and a cute terrace! They have a lovely boutique with a huge range of products and lots ... of items that make great gifts. The facility is very clean and I would highly recommend a visit! Read more

Treating myself to a birthday spa day at Elmwood Spa has become an annual tradition of mine. I’ve gone the past three years and each visit has been INCREDIBLE! I always get a hot stone massage, facial and pedicure. The service is top notch, the staff are friendly, food is ... amazing, facilities are clean and beautiful, and the prices are reasonable for the service you get!! Overall I cannot recommend it more! They truly make me feel like a Queen for the day and I leave feeling super relaxed. Read more
