I came here with a friend for summerlicious 2019, and I must say, the food did not disappoint. The fries that came with the burger were amazing, and the dessert really tied the whole experience together. Service was really good as well.

The space is large enough to accommodate groups indoors. There’s a nice patio on Adelaide with a wall so it doesn’t feel like you’re exposed on the street. Prices are very high for what you get. $19 for a burger. We ordered the French fries, Brussels sprouts, and fried chicken. ... All three items came with some sort of mayo/creamy sauce. This was very unnecessary on the sprouts and chicken. Why pair honey chicken with mayo? The service was slow and they have the tip percentage suggestion as 18%. Read more

Food was okay, nothing spectacular. We had the pork. Belly skewers, tuna tartar, guacamole and steak tartar. The steak tartar was overdressed and salty. Yummy! Great food in a laid back atmosphere. Enjoyed the meatball appetizer and the salmon entree as part of Winterlicious. Great drink selection. Good service and location. Would definitely go back.

{Visited Feb 2/17 - 6PM} Came to SpeakEasy 21 after work with my co-workers for their Winterlicious menu. The restaurant seemed rather small, and relatively dim, but I'm sure that's the vibe and atmosphere they're trying to achieve. I will say this restaurant is NOT for dinner. It's more for drinks, work socials, ... etc. The music started playing rather early and was relatively loud for 6-7PM so it became relatively difficult to have conversations. However, in terms of the Winterlicious menu the food was not bad. The Meatball appetizer and Apple Cobbler dessert were absolutely delicious. The Sweet Potato Mac and Cheese I found was extremely bland and could have been more cheesy. There was just nothing special about it, no texture, hardly any flavour. My co-workers and I got the Mojito Cocktail and it was delicious. Cocktail Menu Thumbs Up. So again, I would not come here for the food, but for the atmosphere and drinks - food...well that's a big maybe. Perhaps their regular menu is better than their Winterlicious menu. Read more
