Beautiful interior, and the service was excellent. The food was quite good as well. They offered us free champagne and macrons at the end of the meal! I would recommend the truffle fries!

The food at Sassafraz never disappoints. I’ve mostly been here for events and the prix fixe menu items have been pretty good. The steaks are cooked perfectly. Would love to come back and try their regular menu as well.

We had the most beautiful lunch today at sassafraz! We had the most amazing service lovely wine and delicious meals I highly reccomend this restaurant it never disappoints! The food at the restaurant is good, with a particularly pleasant atmosphere when the weather is warm and sunny, as they open the balcony and door. The welcoming staff were friendly, though the main server was just okay. Overall, it's a nice spot for a meal on a sunny day.

We attended a friends wedding here and can say it was a cozy little elegant spot to choose. It had 2 floors - downstairs for dining and upstairs for the ceremony and dancing. It held a simple but chic and elegant design throughout the establishment. The staff was pleasant, friendly and ... attentive. Paying attention to details from the being to end. They did an amazing job setting up upstairs from a ceremony theme to a dance floor with seating. They made fabulous mojitos with brown sugar candy stick decor & the white/red wines seemed to be enjoyed by many. There was one server who stood out from the rest by going above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed myself. He knew I was pregnant and couldn't drink so at the end of the night he gave me a bottle of white to take home and enjoy after the baby comes, which I felt was a very sweet and memorable gesture. It gave me something to look forward to long after the event. But it was also the consistent high professional energy he carried out throughout his shift that night. The food was good - I would say the appetizer (scallops with purple yam) and strawberry sauce cheesecake dessert stole the show. The main wasn't as tasty & memorable - I feel it could have been better. They served guests appetizers throughout the evening - starting with chicken lollipops, mini sweet potato poutines, grilled shrimp and mini samosas during cocktail time. The mini samosas and shrimp were my favorite. Samosas were crunchy, seasoned well and potatoes inside were perfection. The shrimp was juicy and grilled perfectly. The chicken pops could have been a bit more juicy and the sweet potato poutine lacked seasoning. The mini sliders served during dancing time we're not as enjoyable as the early appetizers.
