Revere - Toronto, Ontario

I first heard of Revere from friends who religiously drove from the West end once a month to eat there. I only live 3 blocks away and finally told my husband we HAD to check it out. I AM SO HAPPY WE DID! It is an exceptional little gem of a ... place! The food is superb and the service is wonderful. Revere's arrival on the Danforth just over a year ago in September 2016 was very welcome for our group. They are a standout on the Danforth. The food at Revere is tremendous. The menu is mostly Italian, with a variety of other influences. The staff are very professional ... while remaining friendly and approachable. Revere is our favourite restaurant on the Danforth. We've gone back again and again for the consistently outstanding food and service. I can't say enough. And the drink mixing and wine selection is excellent too. They do amazing things with a small space and menu.

Can't wait to go back. A quick stop for a drink for two turned into a mini-meal. Service was excellent: even though we just had a drink and 'nibbles' (and it was getting on to closing time) we were served as if we had ordered the whole menu. The food - ... we had squid ink risotto with scallops - was wonderful, and served on a well-heated plate. Great neighbourhood bistro atmosphere. A lot of little touches distinguish Revere.
