Called ahead of time for a reservation, hostess said to come in at anytime since it’s not that busy. Drove all the way from Barrie, walked around Toronto, ordered an Uber to the bar. Says it’s open on google maps until 02:00. We get here at 22:26 and it’s closed. ... Completely unsatisfactory service and behaviour. Do not come to this bar, they portray exemplifying status yet their end delivery is misleading and mediocre at best. Read more

Myself and a group of friends came by on Saturday for happy hour martini's and were happy with our experience. We were able to choose our seating area so we chose the secluded little seating area under the DJ booth. The bar was pretty nice in general. The bartenders were friendly, didn't take that long to get drinks. There was entertainment hired which I guess differs depending on the night. Music wasn't too loud. How the only issue is the bathrooms. Very messy and puddles of water (or urine?) everywhere. A ... couple of the urinals were clogged. They also smelled really bad. They also put out toilet paper instead of actual paper towels. If you're going to spend so much money on everything else, don't skimp out on the bathrooms that everyone uses. Read more

I was pleasantly surprised by Pravda - the interior has a dark, lofty vibe with exposed brick, chandeliers and velvet couches. They also have a belly dancer performing (i happened to be there on a Saturday so I can’t confirm whether they offer this on other days of the week). I ... really found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating - our server was very attentive and despite it getting quite busy, she did make sure to check in with our larger group for drink orders. I loved the mature crowd this place has, mid 30s+ more or less. Their drink menu is great, it’s nice to see options that are light and fresh like their gin + carbonated water + lime (rather than your typical rum + coke options at other clubs/bars). Read more
