Went to Vivo for Noche de Salsa. I was having a great time with my friend until the bartender assaulted my friend. My friend was talking with some guys we know and clearly the bartender was jealous. She came and very forcibly threw my friend to the side, which many ... people saw. The bartender then proceed to start yelling in the face of the guy my friend was speaking to. The bartender was threatening my friend so I pushed her and she responded by slapping me in the face. After the bouncer told us to be cool which we agreed to and decided to enjoy the rest of our night, however, the bartender who started the whole issue then went to her boss and told him to kick us out. He didn’t even ask us what happened. After getting kicked out, we spoke to the manager who claimed that his bartender was just trying to get to drinks on the bar which is untrue since she shoved my friend very hard and far, started yelling in a guys face, didn’t pick up any drinks and remained in that area waiting to fight and was acting very confrontational. It’s disappointing that this amazing event has been moved to this ghetto trash bar with ghetto trash workers. I would recommend staying away from this place for any events or regular night. The rest of the staff was also incompetent at making drinks and seemed very junior. The manager will protect his staff even if they assault you or threaten you. There were a lot of witnesses to this event and everyone knew that how this staff member acted was out of line. Read more

Went to a noche de salsa event, got assaulted by a bartender for talking to a male patron that she knew. When the issue was brought up to a security member we got thrown out for nothing. After this issue we came back to ask for the manger who completely ... ignored the matter and made it seem like his worker was trying to get by. I was thrown across the entire bar in front of so many people and when I brought this issue to the manager on duty he was so nonchalanent and said that his security camera was not working at the moment of the incident. This place is so ghetto and horrible where workers can blindly assault an innocent patron and then we got thrown out for defending ourselves. What a horrible and awful experience. Read more
