PLAY Lounge – Hotel Le Germain Maple Leaf Square - Toronto, Ontario

Great tourist spot, rooms are clean and spacious. Vibe is very downtown Toronto corporate, really only stay for business occasion not a very fun hotel but fine for going to games, etc.

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Vishal at the front desk of Le Germain Hotel in Toronto, and it was an absolute nightmare. From the moment I approached the desk, his attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. He acted as if my questions and requests were a burden to ... him, and he made no effort to hide his disdain. When I asked for assistance with my reservation, he was incredibly rude and condescending. Instead of resolving the issue, he made it worse with his incompetence and lack of basic customer service skills. Vishal's unprofessional behavior and complete lack of courtesy were shocking and utterly unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber. To make matters worse, he provided incorrect information about the hotel's amenities and services, which led to even more frustration during my stay. It's clear that Vishal lacks the training and attitude required for a front desk position. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid dealing with him if they want to have a pleasant experience at Le Germain Hotel Toronto. Second time staying here and I’ll be back. Very clean and modern, friendly service, large enough gym, comfortable spacious rooms. It’s right next to the Scotiabank arena. Although it’s in a busy area, windows have excellent insulation and it’s quiet in the rooms.

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday with a trip to Toronto for a concert. The hotel made our stay extra special! The service was fantastic. Location was perfect. We had a great time.

Second time staying there this year. Amazing location, clean rooms, looks modern. The staff here are super nice and friendly. Even the doormen are so nice and warm. Because of my luggage restrictions, this hotel has provided toothpaste and other toiletries I can’t bring. The beside has controls for all the lights, cleaning ... request, privacy button etc. it is so nice and convenient. Best part is the luggage holding room. Because I travel for work, they are able to hold my bag when I check out of my hotel too. Definitely hotel of choice. Read more
