If you're a real foodie, this place is excellent. The food here is a taste experience and absolutely lives up to the reputation. The steak frites are a staple and I can see why, but I personally went for their Summerlicious pan roasted chicken supreme in a demi-glace and it was glorious. The ... atmosphere is cozy and friendly, but I'd wear a collared shirt if I went again. The chef is very personable, knowledgeable, and has a great passion for food that he shares with everyone. We ordered food for pickup - 3 different meals, 3 courses with appetizer, main, and dessert. All of it was SUPERB. The restaurant makes it easy to order online and pick up. The owner was super friendly and accommodating. The food was packaged individually, freshly prepared, hot, clearly marked, ... and delicious. Nord Bistro has both a prix fixe and regular à la carte menu. I am really thrilled to re-discover this restaurant, which I used to frequent under a different owner. We had an amazing evening at Nord Bistro. Staff was very pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was above average with great flavours and decent portions. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the gentleman who greeted us at the door didn't smile or say hello, I could barely hear him and he looked a little grumpy. ... What a nice, cozy and charming bistro with great food. We were greeted quickly and everyone was courteous. We had the mussels and fries, it was cooked perfectly.
