Hunters Landing - Toronto, Ontario

Well it is easy to make a reservation and all the people working there are super nice. The food was good as well, BUT we were sitting on a table where water droppt from the extraction hood on the seat. There are some tables where water drops on the table ... or on seats. This is just not Acceptable and should changed immediately OR these tables should Be closed. How can you put a customer on a seat where the steam water drops On their head. When we had our table a group of around 20 people came in and sat on the second floor. They were shouting and clapping and whistling super loud, so we couldn’t really talk. We visited Hunter's Landing to celebrate my husband's birthday and had a wonderful experience! Opting to sit outdoors, we enjoyed the lovely ambiance and the delectable food that exceeded our expectations. Lucas, our waiter, was amazing—thoughtful, attentive, and quick to respond to all our requests. He truly made the afternoon ... special. We went on Saturday night, did not have reservations but we were seated right away. The hostess and server were very polite and friendly. Water was brought to the table as we were seated. Our drink orders were taken. Shortly after we were ready to order. The food took a ... bit but as I mentioned it was a Saturday night. My burger and fries arrived hot! I love hot fries and these were perfect. A very nice portion of thick crispy fries. You can tell the fry oil is well maintained. I chose the Bacon jam burger. Absolutely delicious. A nice, thick and juicy burger that wasn't over cooked with a nice amount of fried onion strings. $20 for this meal in Toronto is a deal. My only complaint is that it was a little too loud, made it hard to have a nice conversation. We will return. Read more

Excellent service! Our host Shar was incredible and she can sing! The food was amazing. Hot and fresh. The manager Ranu was awesome. Very attentive. Highly recommend.

Great food and service! The waitress was so patient and sweet when we asked about the menu items. This was also early evening on a weekend but it wasn't very busy. The fried chicken sandwich was very tasty and the fries were crisp! I'd come back to try another dish and ... maybe one of their cocktails too~! Read more
