Fox Bistro – Radisson Suite Hotel - Toronto, Ontario

Delicious food, good atmosphere & prompt service

Me and my partner had an awful and very embarrassing experience at this establishment. When we arrived the waiter motioned for us to come sit, and didn’t even speak to us. When we sat at a table he got mad at us and told us to move. He then preceded ... to mock us and ask “why would you even sit there I’m telling you to sit over here”. The waiter did not check on us during or meal or offer us refills. The waiter “Stanley” seemed very annoyed with our presence. At the end of our meal the waiter DEMANDED we pay the tip and said we HAD to pay it or we couldn’t leave. There was no way we were paying gratuity with such poor service... Next, he raised his voice at us, mocked us in front of guests and caused a complete scene about the lack of tip. He kept insisting we pay it. He then told us to get out of his establishment immediately. We have never been so embarrassed and this was terribly unproffessional. Never have I ever received such poor service. These people who gave 5 stars are either Radisson or Fox Bistro's staff. Very bad service. The waiter was being short and rude. Not once did he check on us after taking our order. Food portion was so small (canned food quality). And worst yet, they included 20% gratuity for party ... of two. We paid $60 for chicken curry (not real chicken btw, it's frozen fast food type), shrimp linguine and two diet coke. There are other restaurants just outside the hotel. Spend your money there, you'll get much better experience. Yup, even if you have an airline voucher, because your voucher probably only cover half of your bill. Read more

Service was AWFUL, food was mediocre at best. I’ve had better customer service Literally anywhere else. Might have been the fact we had airport vouchers but we (my friend and I) are still customers. They didn’t even ask what side we wanted with our meal and just assumed even though I ... would have liked the soup, I was given fries. Would never recommend spending your accual money here. Terrible service, rude bartender/server. I was asked what I wanted and hesitated as I did not know the menu. I was given a lecture of being in a queue for my service. I was then ignored when I wanted to place an order. Next when I finally did order I ... waited for more than 30 minutes still no entree or meal and I was presented with my bill. I told the lady who was now trying to look after me and she returned in about five minutes with cold French Onion Soup and my meal together. They were both cold. If I had not been so hungry I would have left without eating. If you want to enjoy a meal go somewhere else! Read more
