Flo’s Diner - Toronto, Ontario

Great diner with fantastic breakfast/brunch options. The eggs Benedict was very good and the waffle was also quite tasty. I can't believe this place is closing, it's too good to lose.

My boyfriend and I wanted to find a decent breakfast place while visiting Toronto, but there weren't any that caught our eye surrounding our hotel. So we searched on Google and found Flo's Diner! We had 15 minutes of awkward silence in an Uber, then we could sit down for ... an absolutely delicious breakfast at Flo's! We were greeted with a smile and they let us choose our table. We sat by the window and were immediately brought a menu. Our server was incredible, so kind and quick to get our drinks. It didn't take long for us to pick what we wanted and the food was out within 10 minutes. I had an amazing, gooey grilled cheese with bacon and tomato while my boyfriend enjoyed a plate of eggs, sausage, and perfectly cooked home fries, as well as some yummy french toast. The prices were great and there was no wait time to get in, but the locals say it's normally very busy and they get a lineup out the door, so you could be faced with a bit of a wait. This place is so unique, I had the green eggs and ham excellent. Best part is that parking is right around the corner. Very clean and friendly love it Definitely return!

Great place, always has a line up. I don't think they take reservations at all. It is a fairly small space with original furnishings. Some of them could be refurbished. There is all your classic items on the menu and they're all well executed. The fries could use some salt ... and seasoning. The gravy's absolutely delicious. Read more

3.9/5 Breakfast in Yorkville? Look no further! This place offers a full range of breakfast items and sandwiches. We were surprised to walk up the stairs of a building surrounded by boutiques and salons to find a retro style diner on the second floor. It felt like we time travelled 50 years ... back seeing the movie set like interior. We sat on the patio in the sun which was lovely. The servers were swift and attentive. We tried the Corned Been Sandwich which was fairly average, and the Big Breakfast which was very filling including eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, toast and a side of French toast (or waffles). The food is good. Nothing spectacular but decent. It seems silly to mention that it’s overpriced as it’s Yorkville, but you certainly pay a premium for the location.
