This was the first time I eat here and honestly it was an amazing experience. The food quality was amazing and the taste was way beyond expectations. Every dish was a flavour fest and cooled to perfection. The chicken was tender and moist and the salads were fresh. They have ... some of the best kids meals that I have seen in any restaurant. Wait time to be seated was not long on the Sunday that I went. The hostess was nice, polite, and professional. The waiter was nice and did a couple of check ins to make sure we had everything we needed. I had eggs Benedict and enjoyed my perfectly poached eggs. ... My mother (who is not a fan of pasta) ordered the spicy shrimp pomodoro, and to her surprise, thoroughly enjoyed the dish. The atmosphere was very chill and it was very clean. Overstaffed but underserved. So I guess having an assistant manager and a manager on the floor makes the staff twitchy. We were ready to order drinks but the waiter was more interested in getting water asap. No worries, 10 minutes to wait for drink order and an assistant manager took ... the order. Then another wait to take the food order. Food was ok, au jus on the oily side, fries are great, as was the Brussel sprouts. Burger was good and was the fried chicken sandwich. My drink was empty while the waiter walked by multiple times (spent time cleaning glasses) and the manager proceeded to chat with every other table (including those who paid and who hadn’t ordered) while ignoring us. Checked out their new brunch menu and absolutely loved it. The coffee was spot on (which is a make or break for me), I asked for brewed drip coffee although they have French press, and espresso coffees too. But then also had to splurge for some drinks (after a night out ... last night) and they hit the spot—their candied bacon Caesar’s are incredible. But let’s not forget their classic monkey bread which was oozing with goodness and their delicious shrimp eggs benedict. I can’t wait to be back. Pretty good food, view, service, and ambience. Not many people come here either. Edit: I have come here several times now and quality and service has always been consistent. Staff are friendly and food is yummy! All of their soups are delicious, as is their brussel sprouts.
