This was top 3 best meals I’ve had in Toronto by a mile. I was so impressed by the elegance and simplicity of every dish. Perfectly prepared, beautifully presented and delicious. The staff was incredible and clearly loved their jobs. What a wonderful experience.

WOW, this place was recommended to me by a friend of a friend whom is a local chef, and it did NOT disappoint. My friend and I ordered from the Neighbourhood menu and everything was made with fresh local ingredients and the portions were generous. Long overdue, I was able to visit Actinolite on my birthday the night the pandemic (covid-19) was declared. We were 1 of the 2 tables in that night. A visit to this cozy, unassuming restaurant is an invitation to delight in local produce and the changing seasons. Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. Dishes are put together thoughtfully to balance flavours, textures, and the incredible freshness of the ingredients. We loved being surprised with the next course and hearing about ... where our food came from. Service was warm and attentive.
