Came to this restaurant to celebrate a special event. The server was super friendly and helpful. He explained about doubts regarding the menu and was able to make changes in case of allergy. For me this was definitely a five star experience. I had the most perfect table which allowed me to be at the right place at sunset and the service was so excellent and friendly, I was overwhelmed. The food was very good as well. The only thing I don’t really ... understand is why I couldn’t book a table for two, just for one person, and then I was sitting alone on a table for two, although a friend wanted to join me! I come here every few years to celebrate our anniversary. The reason why we come is because the atmosphere and the food used to be great. The quality of the food and experience has gone down dramatically in the last few years. Our food for this July 2024 visit ... was practically tasteless and dry. Even the presentation was below a typical 3 star restaurant. See the pictures. I think we had better food from a small town bar. The management team here should think long term instead of just profit. When cost cutting is the goal, people will leave disappointed and won’t come back. Fine dining should start with table presentation and high quality food. This place could be much more, and whoever is managing it should be FIRED. Bring back some elegance and a master chef. Food was really good, and service was quick and attentive! A fly flew into my wine before I had the chance to drink it, they promptly got me a new glass. The waiter was Hamid M. His top-notch service was the cherry on top of everything else! The asparagus soup was ... creamy and not too filling, a great appetizer. The rib was kind of fatty but even the fatty parts were great. We had a gravy sauce which made the steak more juicy. The apple and almond cake was very sweet and well presented. A must do activity in Toronto. The rotating restaurant while dining is such an awesome experience. You can see the entirety of the city while dining, so many interesting stuff. After eating, you can go downstairs to the viewing deck but honestly, the best view is from this restaurant. It was a ... mistake to trust the weather report and it was kind of cloudy when we went. Nonetheless, it was still beautiful. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, from picking you up downstairs to leading you to your table. Our server was very nice and kind. He was friendly and made sure we were comfortable and having a good time. The food was great! They’re very well seasoned and delicious. They also look very appetizing. It was our anniversary and they were very kind enough to gift us the chocolate dessert which was heavenly. Worth the money! I recommend this to people visiting Toronto. Read more
