The food at this restaurant was amazing. My friends visiting from outside the country, loved everything. The waitress was very impatient with my friends who are not fluent in English. The waitress made us nervous and feel like we were wasting her time, even though the restaurant was empty on a ... Monday night. The food was great, it’s my favorite restaurant. The atmosphere was just right. Other than the waitress, everything else was great! Read more
The taste is good but portions are very small. If you’re ordering boil go straight to the mussels and do not order anything else, especially not mix and match. they will give a lot of Chicken that are dry. They also give huge potatoes pieces, and usually those are not cooked fully ... in the centre. I ordered 2 mix and match, both potatoes weren’t cooked through. After talking to the waitress I was reimbursed with two very large potatoes boiled in water without any flavour added to it. Definitely a very strange experience. Ordering guide if you want seafood to fill you up: 1.Get the all you can eat(42$), chose mussels and clams only. 2. Order boil, chose mussel as main, pick your favourite flavour and spiciness, git boiled egg as side. This will maximize the amount of mussels/clams you can get. Read more
A young man named Ahwa does not speak well He spoke loudly and annoyed us, we don't know why Another young man who spoke Spanish did not listen to us and was there at a neighboring table from her country He served them and spoke their mother tongue The two young men They would go ... to the bar and talk about us and we didn't know why The girl was better than them. My friend asked her for spice, which was brought in a good way (The food is good) But the two young men advised the restaurant owner to fix things They cooperated with us in an ugly way Read more
Tried out a Boil of Snow Crab Legs, the Lobster Poutine, and Cajun Chicken Tenders. Crab legs were perfectly cooked, corn and egg on the side were also nice additions. The spicy Cajun sauce was to die for, pairs well with everything! The lobster poutine was amazing, especially the gravy ... and cheese blend, but they skimped on the lobster (bummer!). Chicken tenders were also good but rather typical. Service was prompt and friendly. Overall, a great place to satisfy anyone's seafood cravings! Read more
I agree with other reviewers, small portions. The service was great though and as non impressive as my meal was to the tastebuds, I will try them again for the Captain's Boil and hope for better. The restaurant is clean and I did enjoy the window seat giving onto Yonge Street. My meal ... in particular (Sizzling Plate) lacked crawfish as they didn't have any (?) but I was compensated with extra fish although it was super dry and salty. Sadly the best part of this meal was the garlic bread, not the seafood. I used to call Red Lobster the McDonalds of seafood but after this meal, me thinks this restaurant deserves it best. Read more
