The Scullery - Toronto, Ontario

Laura and Fiona are amazing people. The coffee and sandwiches here are amazing and very fairly priced. I have never had a better egg salad or flat white. To top it off it came with some of the best customer service I have ever had.

The location is nice. The coffee shop itself looks cute and homy but the staff is extremely rude it makes me feel very unwelcome despite the fact that i go there many times and I am always nice to them. The coffee itself is not as good as some other ... places. Tastes like cooked up lentils to me. The only reason why I go back is because it is close to where I live when I don't feel like going far. I honestly never finish my coffee despite it being overpeiced. I just sit there to write. Read more

Nice selection of food and fresh baked goods. They open relatively early too compared to other places which is nice for early risers. My favorites here are the scones with clotted cream and jam. They are offered on the weekend brunch menu. You can still get them during the weekday ... and they will even pack them up nicely for you. Read more

I like to support local businesses and The Scullery is an independent coffee shop located not very far from our home. Coffee is good and so are baked goods. However, I've discovered that I don't like to go there very much because of the staff - those girls simply seem ... like they're not happy with our presence; they never smile, seem reserved or even grumpy. I think that if the staff would be nicer, I would frequent The Scullery more often! Read more

Great atmosphere with nice high ceilings. Had a flat white cappuccino made to perfection with a scone. Yum! Have also had the quinoa salads and sandwiches, try the jerk chicken on Fridays!
