SCAM ALERT: staff routinely overcharge when paying debit/credit, and shortchange when paying cash. Great bagels. Grumpy, slow staff Dirty place, grimy with lots of bugs around. Amazing to be open 24/7/365.

Came here for the first time yesterday and I’m so happy I got the cream cheese and smoked salmon bagel. It was fresh and tasted very good and reasonably priced compared to other places. The bagels are good but skip on the pastries. The quality isn’t that good and they ... are hard and stale. Would recommend if you want a personalized bagel though. Read more

I have the cinnamon raisin bagel w plain cream cheese! It’s soooo yummy and soooo affordable!! Definitely 10/10

While 'The Bagel House' offers bagels that are ACTUALLY like Montreal style bagels (no other place in Toronto comes close) at what today would be considered reasonable prices, their service and the atmosphere sucks! When will restaurants learn that the customer experience they offer is just as important, if not more ... so, as the quality of the food they offer. I have been to 'The Bagel House' several times, hoping maybe I just caught them off on a bad day, but unfortunately every time I have gone the service has been slow and the attitude of the staff has been "I'm doing you a favour." The establishment is cramped, with hardly any seating area, which is right by the door and therefore uncomfortable. While 'The Bagel house' does offer bagels that are on point, at best they are a take out joint for those who have the time to wait due to slow service. Read more

I like going to this place on lunch. I’ve been twice now since moving offices about 4 weeks ago and it’s very solid. Have gotten an avocado salad and this one was smoked turkey. The twist is I think $2 extra but worth it this one was huge. They have a ... long menu including a few all day breakfast items and about 10 different cream cheeses I am yet to try. They also have a good selection of coffee brews I also intend to try soon. Read more
