Whenever i am around Dundas and Dovercourt i find myself wandering into Solita. The Focaccia with tomato sauce is as simple as it is delicious. I always have a pack of their Arancini in my freezer and is one of my go-to comfort meals on a chilly day. Lovely staff ... and a beautify space to enjoy a coffee or sandwich. Love it. Read more
Beautiful small grocer on Dundas west with gourmet food. Ask Maurizio, the owner, anything about your cooking needs and he will give you advice. Best meatball, sausage, and porchetta sandwiches in TO. Also has great pasta, sauces, truffle oil, ricotta cannolis and other specialty foods.
Solita is a real gem with what I will say is the best meatball sandwich I have ever had. Really does bring a little of South Italy to Dundas West.
This is seriously one of the best restaurants in the city. They make the best meatballs I have ever had, and the restaurant is populated mostly by Italian speaking patrons. That says something about the authenticity of the food and (especially) their incredible cappuccino.

Best meatball sandwich I’ve ever had! Such a quaint little market. It was a little cold inside but I’m assuming that’s because we’ve had a horrible winter. Can’t wait to visit in the summer!!
