Riverdale Perk Cafe - Toronto, Ontario

I've visited this little spot only once, but I went with my brother, who frequents the place. A genuine hello greeted us when we walked in the door. Ordering and paying was quick and seamless. Service on the patio was attentive and brisk. I had a bagel with lox, along with a ... black coffee as a late morning snack. It was terrific! Truly awesome. There is an outside seating area and they have blankets on hand for a chilly evening. I am not sure about the accessibility because I never looked close. The friendly service was pleasant.

Lovely cafe besides a large park. Breakfast bagel sandwich and coffee were delicious and the eat in space is very comfortable. They had a great live music on Sunday morning and it was absolutely fantastic.

We were meeting up with a friend moving out of country for brunch and decided on this place because it opens early and has a good review. We met at 930am but the cafe was closed, did not follow the schedule at all (schedule + lights off as per attached ... photos). Winter, raining, drove all the way from Markham. I had to stand outside to look for an alternative. Within those 10mins I spent there at least 3 other groups of people came by and found the cafe closed. Great hidden gem coffee house. I almost walked past it when I noticed it was a cafe. So, I entered to get a hot Chai Latte. It was amazing. One of the best ones I had. Very affordable as well. The staff were welcoming and nice. The indoors was well ... decorated and looked cozy with sofa. I believe you can dine in with bakeries and food. Cafe gave me a very local vibe. I would go again to try a different drink and one of their signature food. Read more
