Hotel Gelato - Toronto, Ontario

Had the pistachio gelato and mango sorbet and they were delicious. The pistachio is very nutty, doesn’t seem artificially coloured or flavoured and is not too sweet. The mango is sweet with a tang. It was a great combination! The berry flavour is really good too, pairs well with chocolate.

We got several dishes to try. Smoked Salmon Eggs Benny came with perfectly Poached Eggs, Smoked Salmon, Hollandaise Sauce on English Muffin, a MUST!! Challah French Toast came with Caramelized Banana, fluffy Challah Bread, slightly Cinnamon-y, so good! Chicken Breast Sandwich was Pressed Grilled to perfection, it’s got Chicken Breast, ... Smashed Avocado and Cilantro Salsa Verde, crispy and delicious! They also serve all kinds of Coffee, Cocktails and Wine! It's a nice spot for classic flavours just done decently well. Service and interior are excellent, had friendly staff helping us with orders and letting us try samples. The interior is very cutesy/classy like. They have certainly made an instagram feel to it. Gelato is good, is not amazing, I ... think the texture is better than chains but not completely smooth like other gelatos I have had. There are some creative flavours which peak the interest, but the classics are pretty solid. I would come back, but I know there are plenty of gelato spots in the area. Read more

Been to this place over 10 times for sure. When I used to live in the area this was and STILL is my go-to place for ice cream and sorbets. Seriously, I am yet to find a good ice cream place in town! Hopefully, this place will continue to keep ... up with the vast amount of ice cream choices and quality. They offer seasonal choices as well like apple pie, pumpkin in fall, or watermelon in summer (house made!!) PS. if you are more than ice cream hungry -- I recommend their avocado toasts, and pancakes - really good. Love the interior, although they haven't changed much since this place opened, the place is wide and they have outside seating as well. Nice family-weekend or date spot. Their staff is always very nice every time too. The place also offers free wifi if needed. The location is nice too, you can find neighbourhood free parking as well. Read more

Very good ice cream place. It is popular with families and there will often be a lineup but not for too long. They have a lot of options of flavors both for ice cream and sorbet. They also sell cookies, coffee beans, brownies, maple butter tarts, muffins and croissant. You ... can enjoy your ice cream on the patio.
