Wonderful home-cooked meals. Cookies and pastries, made in-house. Plus a variety of imported treats. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. Table service available for dining in. Hurry up and shop here before they close permanently on May 18th... their lease is expiring and condos will be built there. :-( ... Sad to see such a wonderful place disappear. This is a real hideaway place. It looks like Disney from the 1960s and there are lots of deli goods in here. Cookies..pastery...etc. The sad thing is that it is located in one of the worst driving and parking section in Toronto. If you walking there ... dont cross the street. Drivers are idiots. A totally delightful place. A mother and daughter business, they have decorated it with the results of years of going to country flea markets. Their service, food and friendliness are wonderfull! It's a deli with some intimate, hidden tables to comfortably enjoy thier custom built sandwiches or hot meals.

Cozy little place with great food. The two ladies working there were lovely and helpful. Got a schnitzel sandwich, bratwurst sandwich, and we shared a great traditional apple strudel (apfelstrudel). Lots of European treats such as speculaas, stroopwafels, etc. Bring cash because they don't take plastic.

Grumble's is a great place. Cozy, unpretentious and homey. They have fantastic home-made food and desserts. The staff is warm and friendly. I recommend the meat pie!
