Ok cafe. The coffee was a bit expensive and the coffee was a bit bitter. The staff also weren't the most welcoming. The carrot cake was really good, and the atmosphere was really nice. Dare I say I STRUCK GOLD with this coffee shop?! 🤩 …see what I did there. The coffee shop is called GOLDSTRUCK, so I did a little play on words by saying I struck gold at Goldstruck. That’s comedy gold! I used to come to this place on the reg (that’s slang ... for regular), but I turned hipster and grind my own coffee now, so I haven’t had the pleasure of gracing this little gem of a coffee shop in Yorkville in quite some time. New layout, same great vibes. One of the best places to get some work done while enjoying a cup of Joe. I recommend the vanilla raf for a sweet treat. Read more

Good latte to have when we are in the area and desperately need one, but honestly the quality is mediocre at best. The latte is too milky and mask any flavour in the espresso. The sandwich I ordered was reheated, when I took it back to the car to eat ... the centre is still cool/cold. Service is alright, nothing good nor bad during the two times I visited. My experience has been lack of human-touch: the staffs didn’t show much care nor do they seemed to want to engage any conversations, so it feels like grab-and-go place. Nice decor/furnishing, overall this shop has character and the seating is alright comfortable. It is a good, relatively quiet place to have a sit after shopping jn the area. Read more

Halva coffee tasted amazing (i ordered half sweet and i think the sweetness was balanced). Great variety of specialty coffees. Seating area's relatively small but okay for sitting a couple of hours for study/work. Be mindful that the internet only connects for 1.5 hours which is a bit of a hassle.

I really enjoyed my experience here. Definitely on the pricier side (I’m aware that this is definitely influenced by the location), but the latte I ordered was fantastic. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, and there is a decent amount of seating.
